    My before and after pics

First of all I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for creating this website. I have been battling algae in my tank for god knows how long. It got so bad that I just wanted to quit but I just couldn't because I love this hobby. This was due to high Nitrates and Phosphates. I have tried everything from DSB to doing 30% water changes a week and nothing and I mean nothing seemed to work. I've even tried using API Algaegone, also tried dosing the AZ-NO3. After running my scrubber for a month I have been made a believer of ATS. Here are my before and after pics. I know it's pretty bare but I wanted to make sure I have good water quality before I start to adding fish and corals. I've also started to see an increase in my coraline algae as well. I had one small piece of live rock with coraline on the right side of the tank and now it's starting to spread

    Tank Profile:

    120 gallons
Wet/Dry filter - converted to Algae Scrubber
    3 x 250 w metal halide

    That's great!

Did you even do b4 and after measurements?

Yes before my Nitrates were 100+ and my Phosphates were .03 - now Nitrates are 20 and Phosphates are .01.

Great to see that display clear up.

Switch to two layers of plastic canvas (roughed up) when you can, and you should be albe to get the N and P to zero.
