can a scrubber cause green water to form in a freshwater tank? If so how can I go about treating it without harming the scrubber?

a scrubber should stop green water in a freshwater tank by consuming nitrates and phosphates.
It should but I'm wondering if the spore release from the screen is causing green water phytoplankton
plus the tank is dirty, nutrients might not be coming down fast enough for the time being and it could be the sunlight coming through the window.
It looks noticeable brighter than a few a weeks ago (spring!).
Any broken algae should be consumed by bacteria, so it should not turn green.
tanks turning green now but I've had this problem once before without using a scrubber.
It's just excess nutrients causing a phyto bloom. Get you scrubber going and it will go away.
