    hi kcress theres 58 watts on each side of the screen , the flows good and it looks like the algae has improved this morning will keep you posted , thanks for the advice.

    I notice that there is a slight bald spot developing in the middle. Easy fix... you can either move the bulbs a bit farther away, or turn them off 2 extra hours a day, or gett smaller bulbs (40W), or increase flow. Otherwise looks good.

    Oh I see, it's where the bulbs cross in the middle, and there is more light there. Just reduce the ON time by and hour, and see how it looks in a week..

    hi SM , have set the lights to come on at 0800 and go off at 0000 , so that gives them a 8 hr rest , before they were on from 0800 to 0200 which gave the a 6 hr rest , will post pics in seven days , then if need be i can have the lights come on at 0800 and go off at 0100 , hope that makes sense , cheers for the add vise

    hi all just thought i would post week three of ats progress and cleaning ,
    tank tests results say phosphate should be 0.03 and waters showing 0.11 ppm , magnism is a little low at 1275 when it should be 1280 , but thats it tanks only been running a month

    a pair of wild clowns
    and a green and pick bubble with purple tip anemone added after 4 weeks i took a chance but here's the results , also copperband feeding well and we know how they like there water quality.




    also got candy cane , pulsing xniena , pussy coral , polips, ducans
    heres a pic of duncans

    blue tonga mushrooms

    fish 6 line wrasses , scooter blenny , copperband , 2 clowns , dotty back ,critters , urchin , electric red scollop , minthrax crabs 2 , lots of snails , hermit crabs , sand shifting star fish , 3 peppermints and a large cleaner shrimp all doing well , not bad for 4 week .
