    detritus or debris ?

    Still have problem with this tiny tings in my tank,
    does everyone know where detritus/debris come from? beside waste from fish and corals.

    It is the end result of many biological processes, but also part of the continuing process (there are organisms that continue to digest it).

    It might be foramnifera, which start growing and attaching to rock. They eat particles in the water, and they look like waste.

    I will post my suspect creature who has live in my tanks, its look like a leech but dont know what the name is that creatures are
    And attach very tight to the rock and come out if only in the dark/no light.

    This is more kind of leech then worm.

    There are many attached on almost all liverock.
    attached very tight, I have to use knife/cutter to put off (crusty) and just in the dark/night they all come out.

    Anyone know what kind creature is that ??

    Chiton- They eat algae, bryozoans, diatoms, and bacteria

    Those are some of the oldest creatures on the planet!! You don't want to get rid of them, they are good for the tank, in fact I have bought them before
