    This is my old setup.

    one side 55 watt pl with a screen of 50 cm bij 8 cm this runs 4 months without a skimmer on a 1100 liter system.

    some pictures of my system (the fish don't like pictures I think)

    It works butt I missed something it was the light because it was one sided there had to be 90 watts on it and not the 55 watt I had now.
    That would not work with pl so now it is led I need.
    A DIY project.

    Its made with 20 leds 660 nm 3 watt and the screen is 28 cm X 13 cm

    Lets hope it wil work.
    I hope to install it this week.

    Amazing display you have there

    Your new scrubber design looks good too. I believe the new LEDs will be a lot more efficient than the old pl lights. You may also want to add some blue 455nm LEDs to further optimize algae growth.

    Thanks I try to make a nice reef and it is always good to hear it looks good.
    And for the leds I understand bleu is for bacteria grow and red for algea thats wy I only use red.

    Santa Monica.
    I hope it will work oke its rubber so it would be easy to remove the screen whitout removing the splash gard.

    its growing and looking oke only not yet the grow i want.
    look for grow pics on my other tread about how to transport algea to new screen.
