    THICK peeling scrub tonight...

    The story:
My dovii died when I moved to my new place in March. (Died during the move).
My scrubber was out of service.

I eventually started it back up after a few months on my convict breeding tank.

Did my first "scrub" tonight, and I could grab the base of it, and PEEL off the algae in huge THICK strips.
It was like matted. Wouldn't go down the drain either :P
Had to flush it down the toilet.

*It's been about 2 weeks since I put it back to work.
    *Fresh water
*2 tanks stacked (PLUS a standalone waterfall scrubber above the 2 tanks),
*breeding convicts, about 12 total in there right now.

** My water treatment that removes chlorine - also helps "build protective coat" on fishes.

Is this a sure sign of anything?

Just sounds like high nutrients relative to light.

Well, guess we're waiting 1 week to see if it does it again

Is this what they mean when they say it's "leafy", or is that term directed towards each individual strand? Whenever strips of it comes off?

I don't know. I'll get back to yall in a week or so.

Usually it comes off in small clumps or small pieces. I might have to make a video.
