    cykling a new tank

    Hi!
I'm planning to set up a anemone farming tank in the next couple of month. My question is this: How do you cykle a brand new aquarium? When reading post here, everyone seems to incoporate the scrubbers after running the aquarium for a long time using other methodes for nutrient control.
But if it was a brand new tank with fresh saltwater in it, how would you do then? Run the filter from the beginning? Feeding? Supplement bacteria like zeovit, prodibio etc..

I'm familiare with other kind of methods and using zeovit products right for my reef aquarium and it works as it should. But, for my farming business, this method seems to be the absolute best way.

So, does anyone have any tips about this subject?

    Welcome.

You can start the scrubber from the first day. It will not grow a lot, however, until you start feeding.
