    again a new starter

    Hello, mij name is paul living in the netherlands.
    I own a zeeaquarium now it's about 200 l. Now. This one will be going away and there is a new one coming 180*70*65 cm. I also want to start with ATS

    I do have 1 question iss it possible to make a upstream scrubber with only te water from bottum to top ?

    I mean putting the drain from the disply down to the bottom of the sump with a slot in it en put the screen on top of it ? As if a waterfallscrubber wrong site up

    I hope somewone understand what i mean. My englisch writing is bad i now.

    Well yes I suppose you could do that, but if it is a submerged device like that you can just go with a standard upflow scrubber type design and not use the slot pipe. Just direct the overflow line into the chamber with the screen in it for water turnover

    I don't think there are any bubbles koming out of the drain, the overflow will made out of 2 pipes 1 low en 1 high in the lowest there is a valve for silensing out.

    but where are the air bubbles for ? to diliver co2

    You can add a venturi for air. You will need to experiment first.

    A better way is to let the overflow splash down into a growth compartment.
