    T8 Tube LEDs advice

    Hi all
I need to upgrade my ATS and are looking at these lights http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230977614...84.m1438.l2649
Any one used something like those ?

This is the new ATS design ... will be mounted above the display

Well it's better than nothing, but if the lights will only be in the boxes, I'd get plant-grow lights instead. Probably the same price.

If the lights will also light the display, then you have to use these white ones.

    Hi there
Thanks for the reply .. these lights will be on the sides of the new ATS tanks ... will be 3 on outside 2 on inside of both tanks thus 5 tubes a tank ..
    Hope that make more sense
Will also be 3000K in color not the cool white
    Cheers

mmm ok seems getting in the right direction here .... so 8 of them per ATS .. 4 foot ATS with 2 light running parallel for good spread ...
what do you think about these : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/48-HIGH-P...item74741d1a7e

I know I'm asking a lot of questions and time but all advice will be great ... going to cost a few $ to get this baby up and running ...don't want to waist money on wrong lights

The 660nm ones should be good. 18w per tube. Try to get 0.5 watt per square inch of screen.
