Does waterfall scrubber cause more moisture in cabinet

    Hi

Just taking my first steps into the world of scrubbers

It has been running to 2 days and I thought It may be causing more moisture in the cabinet or it might just be my imagination

My system has been setup for nearly 2 years with a sump but now i'm starting to wander if i should move all the electrics (plugs, sockets,Lighting controller etc) to the outside of the cabinet

Has anybody had any problems with things shorting out due to moisture near the sump/scrubber

    Please advise

    Thanks

    Welcome.

Humidity will be proportional to the water surface area and airflow. So yes, an un-enclosed waterfall will put more humidity into the air.

My old sump got enough humidity from the sump water alone that it would condense on the walls, and it started to buckle the particle board stand in two spots. The plug-in extension sockets also would pop from time to time. So I would enclose the scrubber, and put good ventilation in the stand.
