Flow more important that the light

    Look at these two photos

This is part of what will be my quarantine, the detail is that I get chaeto algae and had nowhere to put it, place it there with some rocks and I put a makeshift lamp

What is interesting here is where they see this as a black spot in the picture is actually green alga, ie this grew below where it gives a strong flow and very low light, grew nothing which gives lots of light but little flow

I know I have given several times, but for me it's interesting how you can use this unexpected result, I thought the thing flow and the light was more even, but I do not

Well just wanted to share this experience and see if we can take advantage

    regards

Thats why my high flow l2 is on the way. Good info!

Makes sense. More nutrients delivered to the algae.

The question is, if you brush it all off, does it fill back to thick growth in 7 days.

RkyRickskr saludos, if I would be right, I think we could get more out of this

    Santa monica saludos,

Actually I do not know,,, just recently noticed this, he was assembled for the chaeto

But I estimate will take about 3 or 4 days, we will see what happens at 7 day

    greeting
