    Hi Money

Nothing in my mixed tank has been affected by switching to an ATS & Skimmer set up.

Xenia, morphs, gorgonians, LPS, SPS and a blue maxima clam.

Like SM says, Give it a try.

    Cheers

2 of them, 3" from the screen. The 14w ones won't work at all.

then you are better with floodlight LED growlights instead of flat panels.

big enough? anyone used this particular one?

Saw this single sided scrubber http://algaescrubber.net/forums/show...Sided-Scrubber

I can run light through sump side 4" from screen, id make it 24" to get the flow, 6" long and run two T5, or 2 of the full size canvas panels with 2 of the led panels you listed SM

Im not into experiments when there's tried and tested, it seems like it might be hit miss with horizontal so............, what you think?

sorry for the questions, id like to nail it the first time

Those lights are good. Although the whole room will still be red, and, you'll get growth in other parts of the sump too.

I can't see the scrubber link; pics are removed.

You want at least 50 gph per inch of horiontal, so at 14" you only need one of your returns. Epoxying some 3" strings to the surface will help attachment also.

its been awhile with not a lot happening.(Edit a lot happened- i added a 1200lt display tank to the system, now total volume 2500lt), i Just got off my butt to try single side, there is diy lights atm, but have a 60w Led panel on its way, i have tried to reduce bubbles and going to try more yet.
Its behaving very similar to an up flow, at a guess 5000+ water passing over it, Can i have to much air and turbulence?

Looks like a water fall now.

No, can not have too much flow or turbulence.
