The lights are now on for 20 hours and the waterfal is out of the sump.
The first cleaning was a hand full of nice green algea where my waterfall was slimy evry time.

    I use 10 3 watt leds 660 nm at 90% power.

    Greetings
    Eric Jan

Interesting. Could you explain to me how you are providing the air bubbles? I am designing a UAS and am trying to figure out different methods of oxygenating the water. One thing I was thinking about trying is using the output from my protein skimmer. Or branching off of the pump to the skimmer just after the air input.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found your explanation in another post. I removed all air from my drain pipe because I couldn't stand the noise of it so I guess this won't work for me. Also, my current sump is a wet/dry system with bioballs that I am trying to phase out. I thought about using that compartment for my scrubber but was worried that placing anything directly after the drain may cause fluctuations in overall waterflow of the tank. Have you noticed any difference in flow rate as the algae builds up?

I made it so that there was no noise.
I made a tube in my downpipe yust before it comes in the sump that sucks the air in.
The problem i have is there comes to much flow in the scrubber so the algea comes of the ropes.
So now i put a smal skimmer pomp under it i started this scrubber like this so this wil work oke.
