    New tank new scrubber

Hi all just sounding out my new scrubber design. My main question is has anybody tried some kind of floating scrubber with a large amount of surface agitation? I'm thinking about running a pump on a closed loop spray bar hitting a large amount of the surface. Reckon this will be successful? My current scrubber is in a small rear chamber and i used to have the light fixed so it was lighting the bottom of the chamber where i had a bubbler going. Recently i moved the light so it was focused on the water line where the bubbles broke the surface and it has been growing algae very well presumably due to increased oxygen from turbulence where bubbles are breaking the surface?

You mean increases CO2 delivery, not oxygen.

A pump really is not needed; it's all about the bubbles.
