This is a freshly baked algae casserole. I mean, it's actually the saltwater growth of a HOG3x or 3xx

Feed your fish from your scrubber.

Free, fresh, and does not add nitrate or phosphate to the water like normal feeding does.

This HOG3 or 3x or 3xx from saltwater looks like the waterline was about halfway up, or maybe the unit was tilted in order to fit in the space available.

This HOG3 or 3x or 3xx shows the Green Grabber® strings doing their best to hold on to this thick growth in saltwater. Without the strings, the growth would probably let go sooner. And, cleaning/harvesting this a day or two sooner would help. Note the top 1 inch has no growth; this part was above the waterline, which keeps the salt spray and bubbling inside the case, and keeps the top air hole vent clear.

Since HOG® scrubbers attach to both sides of the glass, there is some red light glow along the glass.

This HOG3® (and other HOG models) can go on the glass of the display if you don't have a sump.
