Ok better.

Slide it sideways, to a new piece of glass.

Clean all the holes to make sure they are not clogged, but don't clean the growth surfaces.

Uncover more, so that only 1/3 is covered with the cloth, and let it go another 7 days before a full cleaning.

Now it starting to grow, do you think the algae in the display tank will ease up?
