    My HOG2 on my sump

This pic shows my sump layout with my HOG2 just installed yesterday. The tank is my new build an Aquareef 300. 1/3 of the water is from my old tank the rest is new water from my old tank a 2' cube. I have a BM Curve 5 skimmer in it and a BM 70 reactor with bio-pellets in it both transferred over from my 2' cube. The HOG2 is currently being fed by a Tetra 300 air pump giving out 3ltrs per min and there is a very vigorous flow over the scrubber. All advice, comments welcome.

How about the rocks? They are the important thing; not the water.

Did the rocks come from a problem tank?

There was some hair algae and a low growing Caulerpa that was getting in and among my corals. I am hoping the scrubber will help eliminate both
