    Thinking of a new light

My waterfall scrubber has been going a while now. it does ok but nothing great. it uses my down pipe as flow and gets 2500lph over it at least. screen is very rough and is around 7 x 5 inches.
Lit one side by 10w red led floodlight on 12/12 schedule

Nutrients are higher in the tank than i would like. nitrates around 10 and phosphate is detectable.

Also starting to get some algae in main tank.

Starting to think light is not up for the task. no idea what wave length it puts out. Algae that grows is dark. i do get some green hair algae on the screen but not much.

Does any sell a kit for LED fixtures for algae scrubbers? i am in the uk but have seen Rapid LED and they sell the bits i would need.
    any recommendations?

That wattage does sound low. Look at these:

35 square inches should have a total of at least 18 watts of LED, preferrably with 9 watts on each side. If you are going to put it all on one side, I'd get the 12 watt one.
