    Thanks! I need to keep my aquarium only with algae scrubber? I am setting up a new nano reef project. 60x35x35 on the display and sump 60x30x30. initially will use the skimmer and the ats.

    If the scrubber is growing well, and is the correct size, then yes it can be the only filter.

    Is best if you have two scrubbers, and clean one each time. You could put a divider down the middle of yours, and clean half each time.

    Does that hole in the middle go down to the sump? If so, you probably want to use an overflow instead.

    This hole is for the flange of the external closed loop system. there is a trough at each corner of the box, being three drop as an overflow, and one for the return of water.
