You can see two gem lights on the end of the scrubber.

Might need some plastic mirror material to improve reflector.

That's about as thick as you are going to get in FW.

3 days of growth, I moved one led directly in front of the screen on the right side, It's about 2.5" from the screen, to see if it burns the growth. So far I don't notice any difference .
I bought some mirror vinyl, crome, wrap for auto detailing, to use as a safer mirror than the glass one. I have not heard of any one using it before. It is advertised as lasting 5 years out doors.

Top view, looking down. Some day I will get a bigger sump, but this is what I have to work with. On the right are two Gem Leds, pointed into a mirror, the same setup on the rightside, except one led is in front of the screen, the black thing in the right side.
Lights are on a timer going 6 on 2 off. 24x7.

]My nitrates levels have been holding steady, at around 15ppm. I was going to water the berry patch today. So dry weather dictates a water change. My tap water is 12ppm, so I doubt I will ever get much lower.
This tank gets overfed, my fish feeder. Likes for a 12 hour all they can eat buffet. Click image for larger version

I have a HDPE plastic " holey rock". It is covered in green and purple hair algae. I have two 50/50 acetic reef lights, supporting the growth.
I grow it on purpose, "Free Food", I feel it also curbs aggression in a mixed boy/ girl African mbuna chiclid.Click image for larger version

ID:	6663 They mostly strut around, but being able to graze on algae any time, tends to keep them occupied.
