    As for your light, I think you'll find later that the top of the screen will grow but the middle won't, and the bottom might just stay white. Illumination intensity drops off rapidly every inch away from the source. But since it's already set up, go ahead and see how the growth patterns progress.

    That is correct. There is some growth at the top, I use a bristle brush every month to clear any algae that may be in the slot. Well, it's been a week and a half now and I'm happy to say I had growth after only 4 days. Here are pictures of the growth after just 6 days. I am about to wipe one of the screens soon and will be testing my N03 and P04 as well. Just curious if it's improved yet. Cheers.
