    Water not 100% Crystal clear..

I been running now for a few months without any filtering socks.. water is 95% clear. Is this normal with no filters? I dont want to run any but once a week I put 1 filter sock in to try to clear up the water. Is this normal for everyone? Or build up more rocks in front of my return pump?

NVM... i figured it out.. My orignal sump I could run 1 filter in a compartment set up for 2. Now running a scrubber in a rubbermaid sump I can no longer run 1 filter and split the return water to the sump 50% being filtered... other 50% straight into sump. My real fine sand dust is still in the water column,

Saltwater will clear up on it's own, after biofilms and periphyton have grown on all the surfaces. It can be completely particle-less, with no mechanical filters at all. And if you pour a lot of liquid food particles in, the periphyton will consume it quickly. Corals too, if you have a lot of them.
