First scrubber lmk what you think.

This is on a new tank. 75 gallon all together. I'm just getting back into the hobby after about 4 years. It's only been set up for about a month and a half. Dry rock and I feed one cube and sum pellets every day. I'm just starting to grow brown alge. The light is on a 9.5 hour schedule. I'll get sum pics of the growth up in the next cup days.

This is the light. It's dimmable and I have it set at around a 1/4 power for now.

    Welcome.

That light is huge, and will probably always need to be very dimmed. Also, I don't know how well they handle salt spray.

The screen is 1-sided, which is much less efficient than 2-sided for the same size.

You could just let it run, since it's already built. If you want to improve it, you could put a reflector or white on the other side, and put a 2" open gap down the middle of the screen (making 2 separate screens), and seal up the middle of the slot. Light will go through the gap and reflect off the other side to partially light the other side.

Best would be to get a light on the other side. But in your case it would be a big rebuild, so you might as well see how it grows now.

Cool thx man. I do have a cover that velcrows on the open side. Maybe I'll try the reflector. I made it so I can put a light on the other side mayday a smaller one huh haha. I no I went a Lil overboard on the light. I just went with the one to see how it would do. I'll start looking for another light. Any suggestions? Don't really wanna go the clip on rout.

At that close range, I'd get no more than a 60 watt light in each side. And of course there is always our lights:
