Here is an intro video of our first SLIP.7 (tm) combo ATS scrubber, test unit #1, which will be sent to contest winner #1

https://youtu.be/50v7Y5sh5mM

The video shows the unit with black and white parts to make it more clear what the parts do, but the actual parts will probably be all black to block the red light from escaping. The SLIP.7 is:

Nano Chaeto Reactor
+
Waterfall Algae Scrubber
+
Bubble Upflow Algae Scrubber UAS®

The SLIP.7 slips into the back of almost every size nano compartment, and of course also fits into every sump, and even every size display. Size is 3.5" wide x 1.75" thick x 9.5" tall (without the legs), and the Green Grabber® screen is 2-sided and it positionable in a low and high-illumination position. It can operate in these modes:

Chaeto Reactor with top-feed water tubing.
Chaeto Reactor with bottom-feed water tubing.
Waterfall Algae Scrubber with top-feed water tubing.
Waterfall Algae Scrubber with bottom-feed water tubing.
Bubble Upflow Algae Scrubber with top-feed air tubing.
Bubble Upflow Algae Scrubber with bottom-feed air tubing.

Combined chaeto reactor and waterfall scrubber; no air used.
Combined chaeto reactor and upflow scrubber; uses water and air.
Combined waterfall scrubber and upflow scrubber; uses water and air.

It can be elevated above the sump compartment by setting it on something, or by using the legs. When elevated the bottom-feed water and air tubing eliminate any extra tubing sticking up in the air. And any overflow just flows down the side of the unit back into the sump compartment.

One of the neatest things you can do is to grow chaeto first (water only, no air) and then turn on the bubbles to grow hair algae on top of the chaeto. Then you harvest the whole thing. Since many people end up with GHA on their chaeto anyway, this is a great combo effect.

Once growing any color of growth, the SLIP.7 can absorb the nutrients from:

0.7 frozen cube per day, or
7 pinches of flake food per day, or
7 square inches (42 sq cm) of nori per day, or
0.07 dry ounce (2 grams) of pellet food per day.

Hope you like it!
