    Cleaning algae growth

I normally clean off the algae growth from my scrubber in a small bucket with salt water from a recent water change.
Can I also clean off the growth under the sink using tap water?

Will the chemicals in tap water - like chlorine- kill off the algae?
What’s best recommended for the cleaning? Salt water, RO water, regular tap water or any/all of the above ?

If you want maximum growth and the most pods, use saltwater. For standard growth and some pods, tap water is fine and easier; the re-growth is a bit slower but still good.
