Looking for feedback on screen growth

Hello, new to scrubbers here. Tank has been up since Jan so ~2 months. Nitrates at ~20, Phos at 0.27, up from 0.11 3 weeks ago. Screen showing growth for about 2 weeks now and increasing rapidly. Would like some feedback on the growth appearance and if I should let it go or clean it at this point.

It’s a Rain 2, both lights running 18 hours/day. There is a green “layer” on every up facing rock in the display.

Should only be running 1 light, not 2. Brush the screen and holes clean, and the tray and pipe slot, and run the 1 light until most of the screen holes are filled in with some color growth.

Also the flow should be increased so that it comes off the whole length of the screen.

Ok, thanks for the info. The stuff growing was round, “lumpy” and kind of slimy looking. It came off super easy. Lightly scraped it down and rinsed it. 10-4 on going back to 1 light. I suppose i misunderstood the instructions. Should I be sticking to 18 hour light periods?

18 is a safe amount for now.
