Cleaning screen

Hi,

I'm to the point with my ATS that I'm getting nice green growth on almost the entire screen. I'm now unable to just push algae off with my fingers. So, my question is, when you clean a screen with this type of growth, do you scrape off the algae all the way down to the screen? Or, do you try to leave a layer cover the screen?

The screen material I'm using is doubled up so, if I do scrape down to the screen there should still be some algae in between the two layers of screen.

Yes, if you have double layer, you can clean all the way down to the plastic.
