Are there diff. light req. for FW and SW algae scrubbers?

From what I have read so far there are several different types of chlorophyll a,b,c1,c2, and d. The light absorbance for a and c are

Given the fairly large difference and the steep nature of the peak absorbance curve of just these two different chlorophyll molecules, I am trying to figure out what would be the right colored led light wavelength that would be best for a FW algae scrubber. The colored led lights have very narrow wavelength frequency. From what I have read so far there are difference in the chlorophyll makeup between FW and SW algae. I could be wrong. I am far from an expert and I would appreciate any ones input on the subject.

You will need blue and red LEDs. Just try to select ones that are close to the peaks. It's not to hard. The available LEDs are in the right spectrum areas. Even if they miss by a bit you should have higher efficiency than all the wasted other colors presented by white lights.
