UV with a Scrubber on a Fresh Tank?

I was wondering if running a UV sterilizer on my fresh tank would interfere with my scrubber's function. It would be set up as a system completely independent of the scrubber (not inline with the scrubber).

No it should not be an issue. If you put one in front of a scruber I would expect the scrubber to take a long time to start up.

The uv will probably just kill some pods. I don't think it will alter growth.
