    glass ats

    i ve been looking at sm scrubber and i was woundering can i make it out of glass and use black board paint to black it out i could build two to fit in my sump just nice , its just glass is a lot cheeper here in the uk , i have a diamond drill bit for the holes for the feed so thats not a problem and going to use a pump to pump the water onto the screens .

    ps hi sm can i use some of your design please ?

    Glass is fine. And you don't even need to paint it unless the light bothers you.

    so why would you not build yours out of white acrylic ???????????

    White still lets some light through, and, it would not look as good setting on a shelf, or on top of a tank, in a living room.

    Ocean Rock, can alway paint the white first then go over the layer with a primer then paint it black, the inner will still be white
