    Your scrubber pump is always on right? Doesn't go off with lights? Because you don't want that. And if it does, your algae could be drying out then washing it into display when pumps are on with lights.

    Hard to believe something is spawning everytime the lights come on. Especially when most things spawn at night.

    I'd maybe think pods ltting go when lights come on but you say it's brown, not sandy looking.

    Make sure your scrubber pump isn't on a timer with your lights.

    Are you cleaning the screens all the way down to bare plastic? If not, try it. This will make the screen new each time, which will take longer to grow back, but will make sure that any dead stuff is removed.

    Is your screen one or two layers?

    two layer i just cleaned them to bare screen as my sump got broken and it still does it as soon as the algae grows on it

    1: when it is bare it does not do it
    2: NO3 = 5
    3: PO4 = 0
