    That clear pipe is going to grow algae inside and clog up. Replace it with an opaque pipe. Also move the light further back.

    I am working on a shield or cover i am just scrubbing it with a toothbrush when i clean my screen i like the fact that i can see the water level inside i am working on a small fish tank for the permanent setup 0ther than the opaque pipe and the light movin back what do you think

    What i actually meant was the screen growth ??? Am i starting to grow the right algae!!

    All algae is good. Just the more, the better. Yours seems to have a good start.

    Thanks for the reply i have moved light ten centimetres away from screen and am on day three of testing no3 po4 havent seen much change as yet will update soon i cant wait to see zero nitrate and phosphate my lfs has a plating montipora that they are keepin for me till my nutrients decrease

    I cant believe it works tested water tonight and the nitrates are almost gone phosphates are at two i am so stoked it took about six weeks to go from offscale high to near clear on salifert

    Nitrates zero for 6 days allready and phosphates one on salifert
    after weekly cleanin of ats the turf comes back so quickly
    i cant believe it
    it works
