    new design questions

    hi guys doing a new design and wanted to enclose the ATS a bit and was thinking to a similar style as the santamonica build

    if i was to seperate the bulbs by a sheet of something transparent ie glass or acrylic;

    how thick does the acrylic have to be ? can i have it very thin? i can see thick getting bad for light transfer...

    How do I bond acrylic is there a special glue?

    i was thinking about lining the inside - where the bulbs are - with white paint or mylar what do you think

    also is glass a even a good idea? it doesnt seem like a good idea for light transfer unless i use starphire or something

    Re: new design questions

    The thickness only needs to be enough to hold the water. Mine is 1/8 inch. Acrylic is better for light transfer, and is lighter and easier to cut. Use acrylic glue. You can paint it white if you want, where there is no water.
