    Here is the back side.
Big heat sink in the center, for the 3 old LEDs. Total overkill. It also helps cool the others.
Also some small heat sinks, glued on roughly opposite the LEDs on the other side.
They were super cheap on ebay as well, so why not overkill.
This way, LEDs last longer, and absolutely no need for a fan.

Ok, 1 panel is done. Pretty happy with it.
Now to do the other one.
I keep flip-flopping on adding micro-diamond diffusion screen or not, for better light distribution.
It helps on distribution, but of course, cuts down on intensity.
Also, it bounces light up where I don't want it, like the slot.
I think I will add it though.

    Great inputs!
What about the housing of these leds? What have done to keep them from the humidity?

Quite a few things. It is serious concern.

    1) The scrubber is completely enclosed, so less humidity to start with.

    2) The LEDs are effectively inside a box.
The sides are painted wood. The back is the aluminum plate you see with the heat sinks,
and the front is a diamond diffusion acrylic screen.
    Not airtight, but close.

    3) The whole fish area is ventilated with a big bathroom fan.

    4) I spray a sealer on everything.
You can get a special sealer for LEDs.

    5) The drivers are fully sealed. Rated IP67.
