Depends on how much you are feeding. A pinch or two of flakes each day, yes. A spoon of pellets, yes.

know my base is sand do i have the same problem??

Yours is not powder. His was powder. Yours is slime, which is normal.

i increase the flow and the lighning from 26 watt to 32 watt on each side and here is the results
the brown algae is more and nothing changed to green hair algae
