49/square inch or 25/square inch?

my scubber is waiting for them mess currently, everything else is ready. i have two meshes that i was told would wokr by a local scubber but idk if i should go with the mesh with smaller holes (49/square inch) or larger holes (25/square inch). thoughts? i was thinking the smaller holes would allow more plastic for the algae to attach too but would limit the flow flowing through the mesh because the algae will be more concentrated. smaller holes or larger holes? once i find this out i can sand the mesh and get the scrubber up and running!

it honestly doesn't matter as long as the screen is extremely rough.

I found that the larger hole size roughs up better,,,if that helps
