how long have you gone without a waterchange?

I know that with a scrubber you can go without water changes but I am all ways tempted to do one because of all my years of conventional fish/reef keeping. So whats the longest anyone here has gone without a water change? For myself I have gone about 2 months,,but plan to try and resist for a full year this time! And do you add any trace elements?

    Yes magnesium, calcium, sodium bicarbonate,
    iodide. The major stuff.
I think depends in what u keep n how
Particular u are about their brilliance ,
cus I've experienced without trace elements
    the corals loose their brilliance
