    Tank lighting (fish need it website)

    Since light is such a strong part of algae scrubbers and i found the link on here i was wonder why this site http://www.fishneedit.com/150w-metal-ha ... t-lig.html has metal halides so cheap what makes these so much less will they do the same thing and also what wavelength should i get for an anenome.

    I currently have a ho fluorescents but the fixture sucks and shocks me so i am returning it.

    Have you tried that site? Seems like pretty inexpensive fixtures.

    Doesn't look like it has much of a reflector.
    you could spend a little more and get a lot more. plus I have heard of some cheap non-UL listed lights having some serious problems.
