Spreading water

Hello!

Would this way of distributing water over a solid (acrylic) screen work?
The wings would be moveable so i can adjust the distance to the screen.
Light blue is perforated pvc pipe, and green is ~4mm acrylic.


I thought about this because i had troubles with the slot method in the past.

Yes it would work, but would require a lot of flow for that big gap. If you made the gap narrower, you'd be back to a slot.
