strange alga invades the entire aquarium

Hello friends, I have a partner and friend of the aquarium hobby that disarmed after being held for over a year by this alga that everything appeared and invaded the aquarium, believe me this aquarium had one of the best collections of corals in my country .

If someone in the community knows or has achieved eradication would be helpful to our colleagues, I say that for me is something new, do not know her at all I've seen any type of algae in aquariums less this.

I leave a picture not so good but I hope help

    regards

I'm not sure how to get rid of it but it appears to grow in carbon dosed tanks and can grow under low nutrients fine.
